I've used an Azmacort inhaler twice a day since I was diagnosed with having asthma. It's an oral steroid used to control inflammation caused by substances in the body. It won't prevent an asthma attack, so other emergency inhalers may be needed. The only side effects I've noticed is increased bruising that may also be attributed to other medications I'm taking and occasionally an unpleasant taste that can be gotten rid of by rinsing my mouth out or gargling with water. |
