That seems to be a pretty big epidemic across the country. So big it was included on an episode of Desperate Houswives.
I have known several people that have recieved a prescription for it to remedy their ADD and have dropped alot of weight. |

Some are desperate to lose the weight, but I have always been skeptical of these types of new fade diet pills. |

I guess in the article, those celebrities also does have "attention deficit disorder". Paris looks skinny on my eyes so I think she doesn't need it for losing weight. But Britney and Lindsay need that drug for the ADHD problem. :) |

I lost weight while on Adderall but this was just a fringe benefit for me. I have ADD and the Adderall works well to help me stay focused and on task throughout the day. Somehow the med seemed to rev up my metabolism as I lost 10 lbs but was still eating normally. I needed to lose the weight so I didn't mind this but I would never take Adderall just to lose weight. Amphetamines can be addictive and dangerous when taking for the wrong purposes. |

Society is basically forcing us to do unhealthy things in order to be thin. Movie starts starve themselves, take enema's, and use all sorts of drugs. Is doing all of that worth it? Is it less dangerous to take drugs and starve yourself than to be a little overweight? What are we doing to ourselves? |
