Good article. Please consider short naps (I used to do it during my lunch hour for fifteen minutes or so, with my office door locked and the alarm on my watch or organizer set. I found that it makes the whole day better, and uninterrupted sleep a given at night. Sleep seems to be underrated to me; I just remember that we have few "must-haves"...lodging, food, water, and sleep. The lodging is somewhat optional, I guess, if you live in a temperate area. |

I agree.
When I have problems at my job with my boss, customers, or anything else I find it hard to sleep sometimes.
Usually when I have a good day at work, it tires me out and I sleep much better because I know I had a good day. |

I wonder who gets the ideas to do these studies. Isn't it almost common sense to think that you lose sleep when the things that fill your day gives you troubles?
Bad relationships with coworkers and your boss can make you afraid that you might lose your job, and that is one of the worst feelings that there is. Fear of losing your pay, your health insurance, your home and shelter and food and your sense of security can make anyone lose sleep.
Who gets paid for these common sense studies anyway? |

I agree. I think the next study should be to find out if you lose sleep when you suspect your wife/husband is cheating on you. Come on. |

Sometimes people listen to these studies and take the recommendation they offer if it suits them one way or another. I sometimes lose sleep over some stressful situation at work, not always though. |
