I thought this was something we got as teens and would go away? Does everyone go through a hormonal change and this breaks out again or something? |

No, everybody gets acne, it doesn't matter how old you are.
Haven't you ever seen that ProActive commercial where they say acne does not discriminate against race, age, or gender, everybody gets it!
It's not going to stop, especially if you've always had it bad. Some people are lucky and never get it, but not a lot of people so good luck... |

I get pimples from time to time. I don't know if I would regard it as acne, because it does clear up, and may re-appear when I am stressed or something like that. |

Not everyone gets the kind of really bad breakouts that most people get in their teen years, but pimples and blackheads are always with us.
As long as we have hormones in our bodies, then the skin can react to them. |

I am not fully sure exactly what it is, but it seems like acne. I never had it as a teen, maybe the rare few with one every few months and thats it. Now across the forehead are little tiny ones, almost like blackheads but not popable (is that a word?). |

my daughter has acne real bad. We tried everything. Then i was reading a dermatologusts website who suggested lye soap..... its not harsh and it cleared up her acne! now we just ahve to deal with the scars.
I get a breakout also, but I use a microbead polishing face wash. It got rid of them quick. I use dove, but prefer clinique face scrub. clinique toner #2 and Aveeno moisturizer.
It got rid of even teh infected " oozies" acne and little bumps.
Fromw hat I foudn out it coudl be acne, it could be a reaction or residue from makeup or or yoru current soap is not working well.
do they itch too? hurt when you scratch them?
