| Subject: | PCOS | |
Recently I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and I'm very worried that I won't be able to conceive again. This would be particularly heartbreaking for my husband and I, as we had a child just in May of 08 who was born with severe birth defects. She passed away three weeks later. Does anyone have experience with PCOS, and if so, did it make it harder for you to conceive?

I was also diagnosed with PCOS and so I know that there are many support groups out there and online where you can go and talk to other women who are in your situation. Many have had problems conceiving, but many woman have gone on to have children. Find a doctor who knows about PCOS and you can get help to have a baby. There's a lot of things you can try nowadays. There's no need to give up hope.

kravenscookiejar I am so sorry for your loss. I can not imagine the heart break you and your husband have suffered and then to have this diagnosis. But I have looked into this condition and know that not all women who have this are infertile and those who have fertility issues can use ovulation stimulation medication that can actually help them to become pregnant.

I am so sorry for your loss as well. I can't imagine loosing a child and then being given that news on top of it. With all the medical miracles that happen daily- I'm betting there is a chance for you. Find a doctor that specializes in this.
