Cycle Beads |

I read an article about cycle beads this morning and was curious if anyone has used them for prevention of pregnancy? I don't know how well it will work for me because I'm still irregular due to breastfeeding.
Here's the article:

Interesting idea, I suppose. I don't see it working for many women, though. You could do this easily by marking off on a calendar if your cycle is regular. It wouldn't have worked for me as I never was regular and turned out to have my "fertile period" right after my menstruation time instead of in the middle of the cycle like normal women. |

I've never used the beads, but I've used the general technique before. Like Tammy mentioned, it's just as easy to mark it on the calendar, which is what I did. If your cycle is irregular, I would not suggest it at all, though, unless you're perfectly fine with the idea that you could get pregnant again soon. |

Tammy, what do you mean your fertile period is before most womens? the fertile period is anytime from the first day of menstration to the day after ovulation. |
