I wonder how many people have this issue, I can only take meds in pill form if they are coated with the plastic type stuff, otherwise I gag. Is this as common as I think it is? |

I have had a hard time swallowing coated pills myself. I found that if I put the pill in my mouth and let it get completely covered with saliva before I try to swallow it, it usually goes down a little easier. |

I usually can take any pill, coated or not.
I hate taking big pills like vitamins that are like the size of my finger tip though!
They always get stuck in my throat, and it hurts. Sometimes they don't go down for an hour or so! |

I don't usually have a problem, but when I was younger, I could only take them if they were coated. Otherwise, they started to dissolve and would leave an awful taste in my mouth. I hated when they felt like they "stuck" in my throat, too. |
