Allergies

When you have an allergy that has a minimal affect how do you treat it? I have a problem with heyfever but mostly the worst affects are limited to my eyes.

I don't want to take a systemic med any more. Would just drops help?

Visine works wonders for my eyes when the allergies make them red and itchy. I don't see why that shouldn't be enough, if you aren't symptomatic in other areas.

You could also try taking Echinacea as a daily supplement. It is supposed to be good at building up your immunity to allergens.

Kara, it might help reduce allergies but you don't build up immunity to them. You build tolerance, but you only build immunity to germs.

I've started an anti-allergy eye drop, and oddly enough the small amount of nose running I have has stopped too. I guess it was because of the tear drainage.
