Getting a Phony Sun Tan

We had a few days of nice weather with glorious sunshine and that makes me think of getting a tan.

I am a really white person, my skin is pale and I never tan. We also have skin cancer in my family, so using sunlight to tan isn't for me. Every year there is a slew of instant tan products that say their tan is natural looking. But no matter what, the tan looks orange, your hands look strange and the smell of the stuff is stomach turning.

Has anyone here found a tanning product that you have used yourself and has worked well? I want one that will help me get rid of my pasty pale look and still not make me look like a pumpkin!

I use Jergens Natural Glow. The only lotion/tanner I've ever found that doesn't make me look orange.
Good for you trying to protect your skin from the sun!

I use the Jergens as well. Now that it comes in a couple different types for different skin tones its even better. My mom bought a bottle to fade out her sandal tan lines and we've been using it ever since. Also the fancy brands carried at stores such as Macy's rarely smell yucky but they cost an arm and a leg.

Wow, two people with the same recommendation! I'm sold! I'm going to buy some tomorrow. They have Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer, Fair Skin Tones on sale! The price is darn good too!

Thanks so much!

Jergens Natural Glow is great and inexpensive too. I use it every other day plus it doesn't turn my skin orange like some of the more expensive brands do.

Wow rare when you here the same people embracing a skin tan lotion. Most that I have seen turn your skin orange instead of tan.
