| I'm curious as to this since I am now experiencing it as I get older. I never really understood how or why it happened but now that I am getting older I suffer them myself. So why do joints hurt when its about to rain? |

| I get them too. It has to do with arthritis I believe. Barometric pressure and humidity have something to do with the reason for the pain. I'm not sure of the exact mechanism but when the weather changes atmospheric pressure and humidity change as well. | ||

| Oh yes, the dreaded weather prediction. I know now what my grandfather was talking about when he would say, it's going to rain/snow/etc., and it would. I never minded rainy days until I have gotten older. Now I can't stand it because my joints hurt so bad. | ||

| The joints have fluid inside them which does expand and contract with changes in barometric pressure. This is a large part of the pain caused by bad weather. | ||

| I not only have this problem with arthritis in my feet but with sinus pressure in my head. Lucky me, I get to feel the weather change from my head to my toes. | ||

| Okay then for those who want to know, I know I do.....if this is a problem for most of us, where is a good place to live to avoid dealing with this? I am sure the aches are not going to better the issue, so is it avoidable? | ||
