I use Tylenol on a regular basis to treat headaches and muscle aches. It does take a few minutes before I feel noticeable relief; however it does a good job and has almost no negative side effects. Although I have never expirienced any, Tylenol can side effects which include, an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives), liver damage, or blood problems.

Great all round pain reliever. Should only be taken as directed and at recommended doses to prevent any possible liver or kidney problems.

Tylenol is probably the most-effective over-the-counter medicine and pain reliever that you can get nowadays. I use it for headaches - for the most part - and it works. For my girlfriend, she uses the extra strength Tylenol for menstrual cramps, and it relieves her a little bit and sometimes migraines as well. I have tried using it for muscle aches but it didn't work out very well, but for head aches I would definitely recommend this medication. The only negative aspect I see is that it can potentially give you liver problems in the long-run and possibly make you drowsy, which the extra strength tends to do to me.
