So far this drug has worked great for me. Make sure you follow diet and conumption directions from your doctor. You could expirience dizziness, chest pain, allergic reactions, and jaundice.

My aunt takes Norvasc and I have been researching it. I know it helps with angina (which I have) but I am not sure since its mostly for BP only if it would work for me (since her and I have a fairly large age difference), anyone know?

I am sure that many have had great results but reading through the reviews I see that my aunt is not the only one who had issues with this medication not being very effective. My Aunt's blood pressure has put her into the hospital on numerous occasions since starting this medication. Her doctors are just now putting her on something else.

I took Norvasc for approximately two years. Over that period of time, I had chest pains, as well as tingling in my hands and feet. One night I went to the Emergency Room due to excessive overall swelling. They couldn't find any reason for it and suggested that it might be my medication. They explained some of the side effects of Norvasc to me, and I realized that my medication could be causing my chest pains, the swelling and the tingling. I have been off Norvasc for several months and am symptom free.

My doctor prescribed Norvasc along with my Lisinopril to help control my blood pressure. I have experienced no side effects and my blood pressure was in control within two weeks after adding the medication.
