I used Ibuprofen for pain relief after getting injured and it didn't work well at all. I think Tylenol relieves pain better in all ways over Ibuprofen. Not recommended.

This drug proved to be a quick pain reducer, however my ulcer condition worsened because it seem as if I did not have enough food in my stomach. It a little over a week for the side effects to clear up. The original pain went in less than 10 minutes.

Positive Aspects of Ibuprofen:

Pain relief for headaches was really very good.

Negative Aspects of Ibuprofen:

Pain relief for de quervain's tendonitis was really quite poor, requiring a large dose (under supervision). This unfortunately led to bruising for me, and my breast feeding infant. This is a drug that is supposed to be ok for nursing mothers, yet my daughter experienced clear effects.
