Additional Comments:

It happened, I contracted pinkeye somewhere and my eye looked like it was swollen shut. I woke up in the morning with the telltale signs, pus in the eye, the eye stuck shut with all of the eye-goo. Off to the doctor I went, I left with a prescription for this ointment. One drop in the bottom of the eye, blink it around so it spreads - and it does the trick! From the first dose, my eye appeared healthier, and was itching less. Within a couple days all visible symptoms were gone. It stung a little to apply, and caused blurry vision for a moment, but was all around worth the $24.00!
