I heard about this vaccine for traveler's diarrhea in a magazine and decided to ask my Doctor about it as I often have a very sensitive stomach - especially while traveling. It was an effective, two quick doses - oral vaccine that protected me through the duration of the trip. It should only be used in adults and children two and over - it is an effective treatment of cholera. The oral vaccine is given in two dosages - within one to six weeks apart, as well as a booster two years later. It should only be taken orally, as well, no eating or drinking one to two hours before ingesting the vaccine. Great drug for travelers!
