Amoxicillin is an antibiotic in the penicillin group of drugs. It fights bacteria in your body. Besides ear infections, it is also used to fight bladder infections, pneumonia, gonorrhea, and E. coli or salmonella infection. I know that some people can be allergic to Amoxicillin so consultation with a doctor is a must.

I have used this drug numerous times, and my various cuts have never shown evidence of an infection and have healed quickly.

Not sure what to say. Used this to prevent infection after wisdom teeth got pulled. I think it worked well. It had no side effects for me.

It works. It does not have the 3 page side effect warnings like some other antibiotics.

This prescription was working well for the first couple of days. Then it felt like one side of my head was swelled up and all my joints were extremely stiff. Doctor took the rest of it away from me and prescribed something else.

I had two teeth extracted and a root canal. I was given amoxicillin to prevent infection following the procedures. Not only was the drug an effective treatment is was also very cost effective.
